Panelist in the American Soybean Association (ASA)
On September 10th, 2014, Reinaldo Panico Peres was honored to join Yvonne Gonzales, Brazil Economic Desk Officer, Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs; and Phil Corzine, General Manager, South American Soy as a panelist in the American Soybean Association’s (ASA) Brazil Deep Dive discussion held at The Inn on Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC.
“The discussion was extremely productive because, in my opinion, all three panelists complemented one another”, said Panico. “Yvonne did an excellent job explaining the current (and future) bilateral relationship between Brazil and the US while Phil was able to help the audience understand the complexities of owning and operating farms in the second largest soybean producer in the world (the US still holds first place).” “Meanwhile, I was able to update the growers on the current events – specifically the upcoming election – as well as on the importance of preserving the “personal angle” on any business transaction.”
