We are very proud to announce the expansion of Dalton Dynamics to the United States. The Brazilian company has purchased and will renovate the plant located at 1200 Tulip Drive in Gastonia, NC.

Dalton Dynamics Corp. plans to produce its industrial adhesives (the leader in automotive applications in Brazil) at this facility. Based in a suburb of Sao Paulo city in Brazil the company has been producing adhesives for rubber to metal applications since 1986. The project plans to invest at least $2 million and employment may reach 25 persons at full operations.

No Borders President & CEO, Reinaldo Panico Peres, had the pleasure of meeting Amilton Medeiros Silva, Dalton Dynamics Ltda (Parent Company) President, during one of his business trips to Brazil. At that time, Mr. Silva explained his plans to expand into the United States and asked Mr. Peres’s opinion as to Alabama’s competitiveness. Mr. Peres took the opportunity to highlight our area and explained how Charlotte-Douglas International Airport would improve the accessibility to both the parent company in Sao Paulo, as well as, the European subsidiary in Spain.

“Brazil has many privately held businesses interested in expanding their presence in the North American market. The fact that Alabama had already reached out to Dalton Dynamics proves that North Carolina (and the Charlotte Region, in particular) has to compete for those opportunities,” said Peres. Mr. Silva added: “It was only when I first visited Charlotte and its suburbs that I realized that this is more than a fantastic logistics location (reaching 60% of the U.S. consumers in one-day delivery), but it also offers great quality of life to our future employees.”

Besides helping with Dalton Dynamic’s expansion, No Borders will also be performing managerial roles for the company.
